Belkaton Pushka Tatanya

The Siberian is a natural breed of cat that first appeared in the UK in 2002 but there are references to them as far back as 1000 AD.

They have distinctive coat that changes with the seasons consisting of a thick dense undercoat and long waterproof guard hairs on top.  They require a groom a couple of times a week and daily when they shed their coats in Spring and Autum.  The coat together with the tufted paws and lynx tip ears are all examples of the cats wild heritage.

They are a playful cat, very affectionate and very inquisitive. Any box becomes a plaything and as in the picture above even the laundry basket can become a place to sit.  They can be taught to walk on a lead and many love to play fetch. They also enjoy playing in and with water.

Used to climbing in the wild they love to be up high so expect the top of bookcases to become favourite sleeping spots.
